Tools to drive visitors to your website are many but the main one that should be employed is the use of articles. Promoting your site via the use of fresh, new articles or those from article directories has become very popular and convenient. This system works well because new articles are wanted by the search engines who are attempting to please their users. Most internet users consider the internet to be one huge database and the search engines also see it as a giant source of information. Unique content simply means content that is not duplicated and search engines are looking for this material therefore articles that are rewritten become unique as far as they are concerned.

Many people prefer to write their own articles though and if you are one of those then here are a few tips you may want to consider. First of all, research your topic, there is a wealth of information you can search for before you start and all you need to do is enter a few keywords into a search engine. Once you have your material, it’s important that you set it out correctly, with an introduction, a middle section, which will probably contain the core of the subject and a conclusion. Most articles are written with approximately twenty sentences or so and about four of those reserved for the conclusion where the article summing up is left. It is always easier to read an article if it has been split into paragraphs and whilst there are no hard and fast rules, around four is ok but don’t forget that at the end there needs to be a resource box with your details and any links you have.

Not only is it enjoyable writing articles but if you get good you may well be asked to write them to advertise or promote other peoples websites and online businesses. They say practice makes perfect and this is perfectly true with article writing and not only that but it becomes easier. These are obviously only my guidelines and have worked for me and may not suit everyone but it’s important to remember that whatever method works for you, stick to them if you intend to write articles regularly.
